Corona Induced thoughts

I tried the whole Western thing of going out East to find Enlightenment, to find something that would restore a sense of meaning to day to day existence, I picked up a lot and met many remarkable people who were kind enough to indulge my questions, but when I look back, no one has a monopoly on truth, truth like  garbage is ubiquitous. I remember from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar:

There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.

We may all be in different parts of the world, but there is something that connects us. I don’t mean anything deeply mystical, I mean by nature of being alive in this moment we are connected all in some way, there is some subtle imperceptible tide of thoughts perhaps, of emotions, some nameless incurious ‘thing’ which connects us all .

I was really shocked today to learn that something I said was able to help someone out today. It makes me think now about the reality of how that connection we all share can be  so acutely felt,  how much more of an impact words can have on someones’s day. It kind of makes me think that the potency in words in many cases brings to light the responsibility we have to each other.  Just some Corona induced thoughts

    • yeah he was trying to show off to the black chick he was dating 😉 I dont know if it is accurate analysis but its black history month

      ” Twenty-four of Shakespeare’s sonnets are addressed to a woman. We have little information about this woman, except for a description the poet gives of her over the course of the poems. Shakespeare describes her as ‘a woman color’d ill’, with black eyes and coarse black hair. Thus, she has come to be known as the “dark lady.”

      lol , lmao

  1. The internet, wordpress specifically, certainly enhances this worldly human connection. Por ejemplo, you’re there, I’m here, someone’s in Mexico brewing Corona and we’re having a conversation about it. FASCINATING!
