Illogical But True – Florida Couple Fined $746 For Crime Of Feeding Homeless People

chico-and-debbie-jimenez-e1399903139161Every Wednesday, the Jimenezes feed more than a hundred people a hearty lunch with dishes of chicken patties, macaroni salad, and fresh vegetables, among others. The meals are entirely funded by private donations and staffed with volunteers. However, Daytona Beach is one of a handful of cities that enacted ordinances barring individuals from serving food in public. Last week, nearly a half-dozen police officers showed up at Manatee Island Park, where a long line of people had queued to get a meal, and served citations to the Jimenezes and volunteers.

Jesus Christ!

As many of you know I am not about that life, religious life. It is not for me.  However I do respect honor , appreciate show gratitude for kind acts that human being do to each other. The Jimenez couple runs run a Christian outreach group called “Spreading the Word Without Saying a Word Ministry” that gives food to the needy every week, pointing to Jesus’ words in Matthew 25:40: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”. I love this approach, as it is more about action than talk.

Chico and Debbie, along with four volunteers, were each given multiple 2nd degree misdemeanor citations. The fines totaled $373 per person, $2,238 for the group. The police also permanently banned the group from Manatee Island Park. Daytona Beach is just the latest city to crack down on groups that feed the poor in city parks. Other recent examples range from Birmingham to St. Louis to Raleigh to Philadelphia to Orlando. A 2010 report from the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty identified more than a dozen other cities with restrictions and found an uptick in the number of new ordinances.

Illogical but True

It’s illogical to think that this couple would be fined for helping their fellow citizens, but it’s true. Our legislation is out of touch with the reality of the human existence and not by accident. I do believe that the state  and city governments should be doing a lot more than they in terms of care for the hungry.  But we must remember that we are a society divided by class. It’s no coincidence this is happening in many cities. The poor the hungry are the reason so many bad things are happening in this country. I will tell you a secret: when on the dollar bill it says in God we Trust, we are trusting him to turn a blind our to our hypocrisy and arrogance.

Why do you think is the real goal of these new ordinances ?

The term “mass” suggests that the recipients of media products constitute a vast sea of passive, undifferentiated individuals. This is an image associated with some earlier critiques of “mass culture” and mass society which generally assumed that the development of mass communication has had a largely negative impact on modern social life, creating a kind of bland and homogeneous culture which entertains individuals without challenging them.

Illogical but True || Hawaii law lets police have sex with prostitutes

prostitution

Honolulu police have urged lawmakers to preserve an exemption in Hawaii law that lets undercover officers have sex with prostitutes during investigations. But they won’t say how often — or even if — they use the provision. The notion has shocked advocates and law enforcement experts on the sex trade.

This year, state legislators moved to revamp Hawaii’s decades-old law against prostitution. They toughened penalties against pimps and those who use prostitutes. They also proposed scrapping the sex exemption for officers on duty.

But Honolulu police said they need the legal protection to catch lawbreakers in the act. Otherwise, they argued, prostitutes would insist on sex to identify undercover officers. The legislation was amended to restore the protection and the revised proposal passed the House and is now before the Senate.

But on Friday, lawmakers said they again planned plan to change the bill — but this time to end the police exemption.

My Reaction

I have never used the services of a prostitute unless you count this one broad I went out with. That’s a joke folks. I think prostitution should be both legalized and regulated. Prostitution services should be part of health care packages, giving new meaning to package. deals :-)

I have always been scared of law enforcement, especially since I have seen what they did in my own neighborhood. Police brutality has been a major part of the Black experience in America. They are the visible manifestation of the overt hatred and racism that has been stewed to a perfection in this country at least. I believe that if cops deep under cover with prostitutes, can get deep undercover with prostitutes; they would more likely than not, use brutal force not lethal force.

Let me Explain

36769_445786764953_5418042_n

Usually after an orgasm, I tend to be in better spirits. I am a lot more forgiving. If my dog made a mess on my carpet before an orgasm I might get angry. I might shout an expletive or two. If my dog makes a mess on the carpet post orgasm. I’m more likely to talk to her, tell her that we all make mistakes. Life doesn’t judge us for our mistakes but how we choose to act after we are made aware of them. I would pet her lovingly.

A police in the heat of passion that gets to get of some shots instead of bullets will be more likely to use brutal force and not lethal. There is a difference between the two. It’s a small difference but a meaningful one.

Cops are willing to kill white people now, and despite what history may tell you, I do not want any white person future to be my own history, aptly described by George Orwell:  a boot stamping on a human face – forever. So let cops everywhere not just Hawaii bang prostitutes for free.

Illogical But True ||14 African Countries Forced to Pay Colonial Tax For the Benefits of Slavery and Colonization

e1cfa3395691113e203880f473210c1bDid you know many African countries continue to pay colonial tax
to France since their independence till today!

Let me share with you first the facts:

At this very moment I’m writing this article, 14 african countries are obliged by France, trough a colonial Untitledpact, to put 85% of their foreign reserve into France central bank under French minister of Finance control. Until now, 2014, Togo and about 13 other african countries still have to pay colonial debt to France. African leaders who refuse are killed or victim of coup. Those who obey are supported and rewarded by France with lavish lifestyle while their people endure extreme poverty, and desperation.

It’s such an evil system even denounced by the European Union, but France is not ready to move from that colonial system which puts about 500 billions dollars from Africa to its treasury year in year out.

We often accuse African leaders of corruption and serving western nations interests instead, but there is a clear explanation for that behavior. They behave so because they are afraid the be killed or victim of a coup. They want a powerful nation to back them in case of aggression or trouble. But, contrary to a friendly nation protection, the western protection is often offered in exchange of these leaders renouncing to serve their own people or nations’ interests. African leaders would work in the interest of their people if they were not constantly stalked and bullied by colonial countries.

In fact, during the last 50 years, a total of 67 coups happened in 26 countries in Africa, 16 of those countries are french ex-colonies, which means 61% of the coups happened in Francophone Africa.

Some Thoughts

Brothers can’t catch a break!!!

I grew up hearing in the 80’s that Africans were fucked up people,in those same exact words. “They complain about freedom and all that but they massacre their own people. In other words : giving a depraved people freedom only exposed how much of animals they are. Africa is interesting. The media shows us only the most horrible pictures of Africa, neglecting to tell us about the role that Western Countries have it keeping it the way it is. Check this out, I will have more to say later:

#1.  Colonial Debt for the benefits of France colonization

The newly “independent” countries  should pay for the infrastructure built by France in the country during colonization.

#2. Automatic confiscation of national reserves

The African countries should deposit their national monetary reserves into France Central bank. France has been holding the national reserves of fourteen African countries since 1961. The African countries don’t have access to that money. France allows them to access only 15% of the money in any given year. If they need more than that, they have to borrow the extra money from their own 65% from the French Treasury at commercial rates.

#3.  Right of first refusal on any raw or natural resource discovered in the country

France has the first right to buy any natural resources found in the land of its ex-colonies. It’s only after France would say, “I’m not interested”, that the African countries are allowed to seek other partners.

#4. Priority to French interests and companies in public procurement and public biding

In the award of government contracts, French companies must be considered first, and only after that these countries  could look elsewhere.

#5. Exclusive right to supply military equipment and Train the country military officers

Through a sophisticated scheme of scholarships, grants, and “Defense Agreements” attached to the Colonial Pact, the africans should send their senior military officers for training in France or French ran-training facilities.

#6. Right for France to pre-deploy troops and  intervene military in the country to defend its interests

Under something called “Defence Agreements” attached to the Colonial Pact, France had the legal right to intervene militarily in the African countries, and also to station troops permanently in bases and military facilities in those countries, run entirely by the French.

French-military-bases-in-africa

#7. Obligation to make French the official language of the country and the language for education

Oui, Monsieur. Vous devez parlez français, la langue de Molière!

A French language and culture dissemination organization has been created called “Francophonie” with several satellites and affiliates organizations supervised by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs.

#8. Obligation to use France colonial money FCFA

That’s the real milk cow for France, but it’s such an evil system even denounced by the European Union, but France is not ready to move from that colonial system which puts about 500 billions dollars from Africa to its treasury.

#9.  Obligation to send France annual balance and reserve report.

Without the report, no money.

#10. Renonciation to enter into military alliance with any other country unless authorized by France

African countries in general are the ones with will less regional military alliances. Most of the countries have only military alliances with their ex-colonisers! (funny, but you can’t do better!).

#11. Obligation to ally with France in situation of war or global crisis

Over one million africans soldiers fought for the defeat of nazism and fascism during the second world war. Their contribution is often ignored or minimized, but when you think that it took only 6 weeks for Germany to defeat France in 1940, France knows that Africans could be useful for fighting for la “Grandeur de la France” in the future.

Illogical But true || Pentagon didn’t investigate Employee purchases of child porn but NSA collects porn viewing of those it deems a threat

Did you know that …

hypocrisy1-carouselA 2006 Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigation into the purchase of child pornography online turned up more than 250 civilian and military employees of the Defense Department — including some with the highest available security clearance — who  used credit cards or PayPal to purchase images of children in sexual situations. But the Pentagon investigated only a handful of the cases, Defense Department records show.

This is especially odd since the NSA “according to latest news report based on documents revealed by Edward Snowden, creates profiles of porn viewing, online sexual activity and more from its vast database of Internet content and transactional data as part of a plan to harm the reputations of those whom the agency believes are radicalizing others through speeches promoting disfavored—but not necessarily violent—political views.

Some Thoughts

Basically when a government starts creating porn viewing profiles to harm people’s reputations because they are deemed to be “radicalizing” other’s through their though; you have to admit we live in a police state. What is a radical thought ? How do I measure how much I am radicalizing others? If i do not believe in domestic surveillance and the invasion of privacy does that make me a radical. Is my writing about it comparably to radicalizing others. When the terms are kept so vague it can be anything.

What is the logic behind using a person’s porn viewing to discredit them, and then not prosecuting government employee who purchase child porn? I cannot for the life of me understand it.

just my two cents
