Responce to Bill O’Reilly’s: The white establishment is now the minority,”

The aftermath of the election is as wild as the aftermath before the election. I wanted to write a few of my thoughts to share. I normally do not write about politics but I also cannot hold my tongue. Before I respond let me first present the evidence:

“The white establishment is now the minority,” O’Reilly said. “And the voters, many of them, feel that the economic system is stacked against them and they want stuff. You are going to see a tremendous Hispanic vote for President Obama. Overwhelming black vote for President Obama. And women will probably break President Obama’s way. People feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them things?”

Let me just put it in context for you :

  1. “Traditional America”…. Read: White people.
“People believe they are entitled to ‘things'”…. Such as? Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness? Who are these people? According to O’Reilly they are black, Hispanic, and female. How dare they want “things” that white men want? Be careful, folks, the last time a group wanted what white men wanted in this country they got to walk a Trail of Tears.

Holy shit! Someone needs to shove a sock in this guy’s mouth. You hold him down, cause you’re black….I’ll knit the sock, cause I’m a woman….I’m certain I can round up a Hispanic to do the actual shoving…..ugh!

    • What kills me about this is that there is no accountability. O’Reilly doesn’t get reprimanded nothing happens. No one challenges the statement or calls him out on it. its really effing sick. Its like women and minorities are worse than leeches. Which is a shame, I can just imagine what it would be like if we accepted our diversity instead of used it as a tool to enforce biased ideology

      • That’s what I hate about Fox. That kind of shit wouldn’t be tolerated on any other network. Yet they claim every other network is biased (liberally of course) but theirs. I guess truth = bias in their minds. If they have any. O’Reily is an . . . . there really isn’t a word that totally describes the vileness that is he – or his buddies.

  2. And isn’t it interesting how it’s an entitlement if poor people need food or healthcare but it’s not if a rich business needs a bailout or a rich businessman gets a tax cut. Huh. Interesting.
