Red-faced police in Lancashire, England, have apologized to pretty much everyone for wrongly tasing a blind man after mistaking his cane for a samurai sword. The cops had received several calls about a sword-wielding man walking through the streets. Colin Farmer, a 61-year-old blind man, was on his way to a pub when an officer asked him to stop. He didn’t — maybe because he didn’t think the cop was talking to him? — and he was hit with several thousand volts of electricity. Farmer fell to the ground, terrified. “We are extremely sorry,” a police spokesman said. “We have launched an urgent investigation to understand what lessons can be learned.” Maybe start by learning what samurai swords look like? Pigs are pigs no matter where you fucking go.
“Brutality and insolence of policemen have increased greatly, and the Police Commissioners seldom, if ever, convict officers for these offenses. Humble citizens of all races today are in more danger from the policemen’s clubs than they are from the assaults of criminals.”
– Frank Moss
Do you remember the police man in Houston who shot and killed a schizophrenic wheelchair bound, double amputee man in a home for the mentally ill. The Double amputee was supposedly trying to stab the officer with a pen. read about it here
Police brutality and excess in regards to their tactics is a serious issue.
Numerous human rights observers have raised concerns about increased police brutality in the U.S. in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. An extensive report prepared for the United Nations Human Rights Committee tabled in 2006 states that in the United States, the “War on Terror” has “created a generalized climate of impunity for law enforcement officers, and contributed to the erosion of what few accountability mechanisms exist for civilian control over law enforcement agencies. As a result, police brutality and abuse persist unabated and undeterred across the country.
People Who Are gonna get beat down soon

I think the main cause of police brutality is class warfare, the police are used to terrorize and corral certain groups of people it’s a select group of people who get the beat down. The beatings the Occupy Wall Street Protesters got was unbelievable and set a precedents that anytime you called the system you will get beat down that just reality
