Celebrating Women: Shout out to Ms Ashley

I was a bit struck by a post written by The Lovely Ms. Ashley-licious, I don’t mean my favorite Stripper at Wiggles, I mean the turgidity inducing blogger of Ashley’s Thoughts. The post  was  called ON MY FAMILY TREE. BTW, here are some review on Wiggles

Review 1

This is a well known strip club in QUEENS. It’s in REGO PARK, meaning SLEAZY as hell. But you know what, people love it. It’s $20 for guys, $15 for girls admission. They do not serve alcohol & have a 2 drink minimum I believe so get ready for some overpriced Poland Spring but it is a all nude strip club. These are not bleach blonde, fake breasted girls. These are c-section girls of all shapes and those are the best. They’re really talented & do crazy tricks on the poles that I’ve never seen before neither in Manhattan nor Spearmint Rhino. The dances are pretty cheap too. Oh yeah, there’s a lesbian show where 2 girls give each other oral sex.

Seriously though, the post was really touching and left me with nothing to say but to send a hug to the Lovely Ms Ashley. Today while in the shower the idea came to me to post this as my official answer, Best of everything Ms Ashley-licious.

the strongest of the strange

you won’t see them often
for wherever the crowd is
they
are not.
those odd ones, not
many
but from them
come
the few
good paintings
the few
good symphonies
the few
good books
and other
works.
and from the
best of the
strange ones
perhaps
nothing.
they are
their own
paintings
their own
books
their own
music
their own
work.
sometimes I think
I see
them – say
a certain old
man
sitting on a
certain bench
in a certain
way
or
a quick face
going the other
way
in a passing
automobile
or
there’s a certain motion
of the hands
of a bag-boy or a bag-
girl
while packing
supermarket
groceries.
sometimes
it is even somebody
you have been
living with
for some
time –
you will notice
a
lightning quick
glance
never seen
from them
before.
sometimes
you will only note
their
existance
suddenly
in
vivid
recall
some months
some years
after they are
gone.
I remember
such a
one –
he was about
20 years old
drunk at
10 a.m.
staring into
a cracked
New Orleans
mirror
facing dreaming
against the
walls of
the world
where
did I
go?

Other Reviews for Wiggles (love YELP.com)

who doesnt love wiggles man … this place is so sleezzy and the girls are very bored on stage but .. thats what you get when you come here .. got ur $80 lap dances for 15 minutes.. and $25 table dance…
and the DJ sucks..

The ladies themselves were not the best looking or the best dancers, but all had lots of charisma.  They would come by and greet fellow on lookers with plenty of smiles and were quite amiable for most of the time.  There were a few that would hassle you for no tips, but those girls were the most desperate as it seemed.  There was no plastic on stage, all of these girls were quite natural, which was a big plus for those who prefer that sort of thing.  The lap dances can only be scored in the private rooms, which can get spendy at $75 every half an hour.  The $20 typical lap dance came in the form of a “table” dance where it was out in the open. Lastly, I’ve never seen as many Hasidic Jewish men or Indian men all congregated into one area ever in my life.
