The third Circle of Dante’s Inferno is a bleak place a lot like Facebook where putrefaction rains down ceaselessly. In the Third Circle of Hell, the Gluttonous must lie in mud and endure a rain of filth and excrement. The gluttons like in the third circle of Hell lie here on Facebook and on most of social networking, sightless and heedless of their neighbors, symbolizing the cold, selfish, and empty sensuality of their lives.
You may ask what does this have to do with Atheism and Theism? Well I everywhere I go now I’m bombarded with Theist criticisms of Atheists and Atheist criticisms of Theist. I find that many people in both groups are not content with believing in something on their own. They need to recruit legions of people so they can feel right about what they believe in. Thanks to Facebook I get to read both sarcastic letters to a ‘non-existent’ God as well as amazingly insincere letter to a God that helps one get the best of one neighbors during black Friday sales with pepper spray. As a result there is a constant stream of putrefaction that rains on my Facebook wall.
Why I love Atheism and Communism
When I look at the news and hear about the abuses of some communist state or that some random atheist commits a crime, I feel great because it proves my theory that people are by nature hypocritical. Whatever system of belief they follow, hypocrisy creeps into it. Instead of raping children in the name of the Church, it is done in the name of the State.
The Latin name for our species is Homo Sapien Sapien – Man that knows that he knows. No one has ask what is it that he knows, but today I will tell you . Homo Sapien Sapien means a Man who knows that he knows that he is a hypocrite. Pay attention to the fact that he doesn’t say what he knows, rather he hides behind institutions and belief systems. Like I know I am a jerk, but I don’t go out and tell people because it would ruins the surprise a few weeks into the friendship or romantic relationship.
Conclusion
I have met hot and sexy, articulate and smart atheists and theists. I have met assholes from each camp. Ultimately what one follows is one’s own business and if one isn’t ready to stand up and follow something without a crutch to lean on like other people believing the same thing then one is a pussy and doesn’t deserve either the tittle of an atheist or theist.
I believe girls from New Jersey are easy I don’t need anyone to tell me of their escapades with jersey girls, to give me pamphlets or come to my door when I am improperly dressed, or finally show me the results of their free clinic test. I know it in my heart and stand firmly with my belief.
